YARA Rules (yararules.org) respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights under GDPR/CCPA.

Data we collect

• Server logs (IP, user-agent) for security and rate-limiting.
• Aggregate analytics (page views, web vitals) via our analytics provider.

Files and rules you scan

The scanner, rule editor and linter run YARA-X as WebAssembly inside your browser. Files you drop and rules you paste are read locally and are never uploaded, stored or logged by us. Shared editor links keep the rule after the # of the URL, which browsers do not send to servers.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing contact@yararules.org.
