YARA-X
YARA-X is the Rust rewrite of YARA by VirusTotal: same rule language, stricter parsing, clearer errors and better performance.
YARA-X is the next-generation implementation of YARA, written in Rust by VirusTotal and used in production there. It compiles almost all existing rules unchanged, but rejects some constructs YARA 4.x accepted silently (invalid escapes, conflicting modifiers) and reports errors with exact line and column. It adds syntax such as the with statement.
YARA-X also compiles to WebAssembly: the tools on this site run it in your browser. See YARA-X vs YARA.
